The Author, the Scholar: Muhammad bin Abdul-Wahab Al-Wasaabee focuses on the basic Islamic Aqeedah (matters of belief) that is obligatory upon every Muslim to know. The author begins by explaining L Ilaha Illa Allah Muhammad Rasool Allah (There is None Worty of worship Except Allah and Muhammad is the final Messenger of Allah). Then the subsequently explains the meanings of the basic, yet critical subjects that revolve around it – from Islam, Tawheed, Shirk, Bidah, Eemaan, Hypocrisy, Disbelief, Worship, Fear, Love and many others.

Moreover, the author does this in a siplistic fashion: he speaks to the non-Muslim who’s intrested in Islam, just as he speaks to the learned scholar. Thus, due to the simplicity of this book, wal hamdillah, scholars throughout the wrold, including Sheikh Muqbil Al-Waada’ee,  Sheikh Ahmed Al-Najmi, Sheikh Al-Amranee, and many other scholars have recomended, forwarded and taught this book to their students as a stepping stone to studying Islam.
